Kawasaki refractory, a case report

A male, mestizo patient, 1 year and 8 months old, from the City of Ambato, Province of Tungurahua, country Ecuador, is presented; the important natal history of hospitalization for necrotizing enterocolitis, he arrives at the emergency room and the mother reports that he has a fever of 3 days of evolution with no apparent cause and that approximately 24 hours before his admission, macular-type rashes appear located mainly on the trunk and some on the palms of the hand, accompanied by odynophagia, which makes it impossible for him to ingest solid food, 12 hours ago he had a conjunctival injection, during the physical examination, the patient He is tachycardic, there is evidence of rash, oral lesions, conjunctival injection, he presents: weight 23lbs, height 80cm; thermodynamically high with 39°C at the time of emergency admission. Echocardiography was performed, where a giant aneurysm was observed in the anterior descending artery
