Abstract

La eventración diafragmática (ED) consiste en el desplazamiento parcial o total del diafragma que provoca la protrusión de las vísceras abdominales hacia la cavidad torácica. Esta alteración compromete la función respiratoria al reducir el volumen pulmonar disponible y dificulta la expansión completa de los pulmones.
