Articles writing in english
The Gaceta Médica Estudiantil prefers English-language articles by English-speaking authors. In the same way, articles in this language are assumed from Authors of Spanish or another different from English as long as these articles are accompanied by a certificate from an institutional department* or company** dedicated to the grammatical revision or translation of the final product sent to the journal.
This document must include in its content:
- Name of the institution or company issuing the document
- Translation department (if applicable in that case)
- Name of the person doing the translation
- Name of the article, authors and journal
- Contact information of the professional who performs the grammar check or the translation (email, contact telephone number, etc.)
The writing style of the articles must be in the passive voice (impersonal).
For Spanish-speaking authors it is mandatory in addition to the English version, to attach the Spanish version.
The departments of English or foreign language of the universities, can assume the grammatical review of the works of the authors certifying with official document that must contain the data of the article, institution and authors.
