Digital Preservation Policy

The Gaceta Médica Estudiantil journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archive among participating libraries, allowing said libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

In addition, it preserves digital copies of all its publications, in the repository of the University of Medical Sciences of Guantánamo. It is governed by the digital data preservation and computer security policy of the National Information Center for Medical Sciences Infomed and the Medical Sciences Publishing House, which preserves digital copies of all the information in the journal.
