Several regions of the planet are affected by a re-emerging disease, a zoonosis caused by the monkeypox virus belonging to the family Poxviridae, genus Orthopoxvirus, called monkeypox. In the midst of a scenario where international health authorities carry out research to find a timely solution to the imminent COVID-19 pandemic, the world becomes a favorable space for an unprecedented outbreak of monkeypox.
