In cooperation with the Latin American Association of Neutrosophic Sciences, with the aim of creating a space for the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge, as well as facilitating the exchange of ideas between professionals and researchers from various disciplines. With the participation of countries such as Peru, Spain, the United States, Cuba, Argentina and Mexico.
International event, with great academic exchange that promoted universal exchange, cooperation and debate on research as a way to address the challenges of societal development. This conference left a significant mark on the scientific community and laid the foundation for future advances in research and development.

V International Congress of University Research and Innovation and Student Symposium UNIANDES Quevedo 2022
Vol. 4 No. 1s (2023)Special Supplement dedicated to the V International Congress of University Research and Innovation and Student Symposium UNIANDES Quevedo 2022, an important space for scientific, innovative and academic debate that contributes to the professional training of students and the enrichment of their theoretical and practical knowledge.
The UNIANDES authorities, together with the Organizing Committee headed by the Latin American Association of Neutrosophic Sciences (ALCN) managed to promote international exchange, encourage cooperation and promote debate on research as a way to solve problems of the development of society in Latin America.
With the participation of more than 5 countries, under the central thematic axes of Science and Technology, Sustainable Economic and Business Development, Higher Education and Medical Sciences.
From the student works presented, this selection was made by the coordination of the scientific committee of the event, in accordance with the editorial policies of GME.

Vol. 1 No. 1 (2020)Abre sus páginas, por vez primera, la Gaceta Médica Estudiantil de la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas Guantánamo, para convertirse en el órgano oficial de divulgación científico-estudiantil. Se pone en escena un nuevo vehículo de comunicación científica con el único deseo de servir a la comunidad médica y desde sus artículos potenciar la investigación en los estudiantes y profesionales de las ciencias de la salud y, así, lograr un alto impacto en la socialización de los estudios que se realizan.
Sus páginas están abiertas al debate y al diálogo compartido con todos los que nos visiten y aspiramos a que con cada número se puedan esclarecer inquietudes, opiniones y generar nuevos temas de investigación que tributen a las principales problemáticas de nuestro país y del mundo.
Desde el Comité Editorial, nos complace presentar este primer número que ve la luz en un escenario diferente, donde la investigación científica resulta un eje fundamental para el desarrollo de los procesos sustantivos de las universidades cubanas. Sean todos, amigos, lectores, autores, revisores, bienvenidos a la lectura de los artículos publicados en la Gaceta Médica Estudiantil, para juntos convertirnos en los Investigadores de hoy y del mañana.
